Lets play Catch Up!

I don't like to blog anymore, I get bored of writing on this thing and would rather use my time to try and read a book after Kiara has gone to sleep or try to catch up on some of my favorite t.v shows. I think its mostly laziness though. But anyways heres a recap, we moved to Birmingham Alabama and its really nice here. I don't like it as much as Lexington, I truly miss Lexington and all my friends back there as well. Wishing I could go back, but Alabama is my home for now and I don't mind it so much.

I'm now in Arizona visiting my family and will be heading to Utah in a week to visit my in laws as well since they just moved there too. I love being here with my family and my sister and her kids. We've done so much together already. Its been nice, but I also miss my husband so much. I'll be pretty excited to see him again at the end of this month when my vacation ends ;-)

The day before we left to Arizona the hubby took the day off so we could spend it with him. We love our Joshua. He truly is the best daddy/husband ever.

Training

Making progress. Ran 14 miles this last Saturday and I felt great out on the RTB training course which has intense hills. I'm pretty proud of myself. I also had a great time with my running buddies.


 

Spaldings bakery

We went to the cutest little bakery this morning. It was so old school and the cash register was so cute and vintage. They only accepted cash as well. Definitely the best doughnuts I've ever had. The best in Lexington that's for sure!!!

Open play

Went to this Amerisports Gymnastics Center here in Lexington with my friend Annalee and her kids. Kiara had a lot of fun here. I'm considering to put her in gymnastics soon or in school. I think she would really love it.

Green smoothies

Who doesn't love green smoothies and a few smooches from daddy before he has to go to work. He makes good smoothies!! But I make them best jk.

When mommy isn't home

Came home yesterday morning from a run and this is what I found. Josh wasn't looking forward to painting toenails and so he was pretty happy to see me. He asked "Can you take over, I'm not good at this Girly nail thing." Then Kiara immediately threw a fit and ask that Josh do it. He took one for the team and as you can see in the picture he really enjoyed it hahaha. I love him! What a good dad he is! And he'll pretty much do anything for his little girl!

10 mile long run

It's was a cold morning 16 degree weather. Icy slick roads and snowing but it's always a guarantee that the Striders are out and about getting there long run in for the weekend. Yep, that's us!!! It was indeed one of my favorite long runs yet.im going to miss my running group when I leave.
