New years eve was spent with the in laws, except that I headed over to spend it with my grandparents and visit them as well so that I could spend time with them too. It was fun seeing them all as well and being with my in laws for a whole week gave me a sense of where they come from and just what kind of generous and sweet family they are. It was so nice being around them and being able to hang out with them, cody, cade, and my sweet little neices addy and miriam...that feels good calling them neices lol. It was also a christmas for us again when they gave us some furniture and christmas presents from them as well, so thankyou in laws for everything and for hookin us up;-). The day before we left they dug a hole for a fire pit and they told childhood stories, and could not stop laughing at how funny they were lol. We made smore's and lit up some fireworks with everyone, it was fun. The next morning me and Josh decided to make breakfast for everyone before we left and they loved it, so all in all it was a great ending to the year and to our trip. I'll have to get some new year pictures up here when i get them from my mother in law;-)
Oh man, i'm a bit late blogging about it but man was it soo much fun. I got to spend time with my family for Christmas we all laughed, joked around, said some thankyou's for all that has happened this year and we opened a ton of presents and got what I was hoping for: Baby stuff and maternity clothes!!! hahaha. Its funny that thats all I wanted instead of asking for shoes and cute handbags, although I did get the victoria secret stuff I wanted from the commercial I had seen months ago lol. My sweet husband got what he wanted too, a Ralph Steadman painting and sweet baby santa got it for him as well as the awesome beard and nose hair trimmer and some other cute stuff lol. But anywho,doing all that christmas shopping for everyone it felt great to shop for both of our families! I couldn't have asked for more because my most precious gift of all time is our Sweet little lovely baby thats on the way...yep it felt great knowing that next christmas we will have a little addition to our tiny Meraz/Benson family!!! Christmas eve and Christmas day was just the greatest, we had an awesome time with everyone and I'm truly blessed for all that has happened in 2009: getting engaged, getting married, moving to texas for a couple of months, finding out I was pregnant, being able to be with our families, all of these great things that happened so fast yet came out so perfectly too.
