HE SEES ME

Lately I been feeling a tad on the lonely/sad/angry side. My husbands been out of town lately coming and going to from AZ to CA. I know I should be out there with him but I'm pregnant and I have most of my belongings, bills, doctor appointments back here in phoenix. I know its no excuse but I also feel safer here knowing that I have everything close like my family and doctor to call right away if anything is needed. THE only thing that is missing to make this whole situation better is my Adorable husband;-( Its a bit hard to deal with but I know he is doing this to support our little family and I know its tough on him too. I'm also close to my due date and i'm in constant worry hoping he'll make it back on time lol. I've also been extremely hormonal and like to take thing out on him but I love him because he loves me enough to fight back and try to resolve things lol. He always finds a way to make things better and because he knows I'm a GIRL, I'm HORMONAL, I'm super PRIDEFUL, I'am not PERFECT I'm more than IMPERFECT haha, I'm a total MESS right now cuz I feel so GIGANTIC with this baby here in my belly, and because he knows I'll eventually snap out of it;-)

But most of all....He sees me. He sees who am i. He sees what others are to busy or to blind to see. He sees me.

When I see problems, he sees the possibilities in them. Solutions where I can only see trouble. And I am thankful for that. I'm thankful for his calm and patience whenever I get angry or mad about the dumbest or simplest things. A shoulder to lean on. A hand to hold. A person to love. That's him. And I absolutely adore him. Especially his morning smile. The way we joke around and he looks at the lifelines in my hands. How he follows them with the tips of his fingers and how it usually tickles. How he says in a deep jokingly voice: "your lifelines say that we are forever bunny buns." And I crack up laughing hysterically almost peeing my pantaloons. No matter what he says I believe him;-) My butterflies become like suicide bombers and throw themselves at the walls of my stomach when I see or hear your name still babe. Which is a good feeling since it is the feeling that I have always associate with love. And that I can still feel it after 3 years and 2 months that we've been together.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Daddy,

Where do I even start? I guess I will start by saying the first two things that come to mind. Thank you and I love you.

You are, without a doubt and without equal, the greatest Daddy and protector I have ever known. You have been everything as a daddy that a daughter could ever want or need.

My dad has the cutest dimples ever. I've noticed them since I was little, it's a trademark of my dad I will always remember.

My dad has thick, calloused hands - the proof of his hard work & skill.He can do anything & fix anything. Really, anything.

I have a very special dad. My dad is the type of guy who goes out of his way to help others all the time

He is a phenomenal dad. In the past, I have wrote my dad a few letters... here and here ... if I were to try and write all that I felt, I could just have a never ending blog about him.

So as we all celebrate our dads today - those who are lucky enough to still have with us, and those who have passed away. I have so many memories of my dad and here are a few of them:

I remember you getting so mad at me for cutting my sisters hair when I was in kindergarten and had barely gotten my first pair of scissors..later on you hugged me and made me feel better after being grounded.

When I was about 7 or 8 years old I remember being in the car with my sister and mom, and you would sing us one of your favorite songs by the Italian singer Nicola Di bari and we would try to sing in Italian too but all that would come out was jibberish words.

I remember you giving me your first words of advice on boys and always telling me to get to know the guys mom and that the way he treats her is the way he will treat me..Very good advice!!! He's a sweet heart with his mom.

I remember getting ready to walk down the aisle last September on the day of my wedding. I was overwhelmed with appreciation to have my dad there, by my side for this day. Many women in this world never have the chance to hold their dads hand during that time... so I cherished every moment with him. My husband and I are both so lucky for every day, every moment, every memory with him. I will never take our family for granted.

My dad has watched me grow through the years... but I have also watched him.I have seen him become a grandpa (one of his favorite things in the world), He's an amazing guy. Always giving, loving, sharing, talking. A strong work ethic. That's my dad. And I wouldn't want it any other way.

Happy Father's Day to all dads, especially mine. I love you so much and a day doesn't go by that I don't appreciate having you in my life. You have 2 daughters and a son who beam with pride because they have you as a Dad. I cannot wait for my little Kiara to spend time with you and call you fasha or poppa, your going to be a great grandfather;-)

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST TO MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND, I KNOW IT IS YOUR FIRST FATHER'S DAY AND YET HAVE A WHOLE LIFE AHEAD OF YOU TO KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A FATHER, BUT I CAN ALREADY SENSE THE WAY YOUR GOING TO BE WITH OUR DAUGHTER.YOU ARE JUST SO CARING AND LOVING AND YOU HAVE A WAY WITH CHILDREN WHENEVER I SEE YOU WITH KIDS. YOU ARE TRULY AMAZING AND CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOU HOLD YOUR DAUGHTER IN YOUR ARMS AND CARE FOR HER. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH JOSH!!!!! HAPPY FATHERS DAY LOVE.

Kiki's Baby Shower!!!

My baby shower was a lot of fun thanks to my Masha planning it and for my whole family helping out and being a part of it. It was truly a good memory and couldn't have wanted it any other way. I had my close friends there and my mother in law Sheila Vaneeilla, ya thats my nickname for her. But she's done so much for me too, your the greatest and thank you for sending me that body pillow oh man it works miracles lol.

I collected lots of goodies that I needed for my little Kiara Marie and I never thought this little girl would need so much either. We are almost done with her little room, she just needs the bed ruffle, a cute curtain, a rocking chair, and that tree decal that grandma Sheila is getting for you online;-) and your room will be so chic and adorable!!! Daddy painted the whole room and did everything he could to finish it...and let me tell you it is beautiful. He even checker painted the closet door and front door of Kiara's room...oh so pretty.

We are super excited and cannot wait for this baby to come. Just five more weeks little one!!!! Amen to the baby shower and for the coming of KIARA MARIE BENSON!!!!!!

My mothers Day special!!

I never got around to post a Mothers day for me due to the fact that my husband was out of town for work. So a few days before he got home he sent me an email and this is what it said:

Because I Love You!!

On Friday at four, you and i are going to check in at a resort in scottsdale;

We'll have some dinner together and relax...

Then on saturday, we'll go get jew a little massage for jew hurting back and relax by the pool.

Then, at about 4:30/5:00, we'll go get ready cause at 6:00pm we have reservations at a very nice steakhouse in scottsdale;

After that, we can go back to our cute little room.... I hope this all sounds fun for jew!! I love you tons and tons!!

I made all the reservations today, so we can celebrate your first Mothers Day in style!!

Your Sexy Mancan

I had to erase a few things, cuz they were a little too sexy for everyones eyes hahaha...but this email was so sweet and I couldn't wait for it!!!! when he got home we spent a whole week together hanging out and going out. I took my love to FLANCER'S for some dinner, that place has amazing food let me tell you, I can eat there every single day if I could lol. Then the next day he made me breakfast, thats the bottom blog I wrote a few weeks ago haha. I just had an amazing time with my husband, and there is just never a dull moment with him. I cannot express how much our love has grown over the years and how much chemistry we have. It honestly feels like we're still dating cuz we still can't get enough of each other and I wouldn't have it any other way;-)

So enough of my mushyness.....We stayed at the Scottsdale Resort and Conference center and when we got there we had a bit of a problem with getting a single bed, somehow we got a double bed hahaha, I told Josh: Fine we'll just sleep in separate beds haha. So then the front desk tried findin us a different room and we were so close to getting the Presidential suite but Hellz Bellz like my mother in law Sheila says they were all booked because of Memorial day weekend which never crossed our minds. It really didn't bug us because it ended up working in my favor, I got the extra pillows I needed for my pregnant self lol. It was really nice inside and so elegant, we loved it and for dinner that night we headed to Houston's Restaurant. It was soo good, I ordered the Thai chicken and noodle salad and Josh ordered the famous French Dip Au Jus, and some california rolls as an appetizer..mmm good!! We then got back to our room and relaxed.

The next day we went out to the Good Egg and then we went back to relax and lay by the pool. I made sure to slap all that SPF on me just cuz I tan way too fast and now even faster because I'm prego. I wore a two piece when we went to Ocean beach this April and I was amazed by how much darker my mexi-skinned color had got haha. We laid there for at least three hours and then headed back to our room to get all glammed up for our night at MASTRO'S CITY HALL STEAKHOUSE!!!!! I was so happy when Josh had finally told me what steakhouse we were going to. I had been wanting to go there and I knew he wouldn't just be like lets go then, he just loves to surprise me and make it more interesting. We got there and seriously OMG!! it was beautiful and so elegant. We each ordered some wedge salads for appetizers, then I ordered a petit filet and he ordered the NY Steak along with two dishes: Gratin Potatoes and some Sauteed mushrooms...I'm seriously slobbering right now as I describe what we ate;-). When we finished we got asked if we wanted dessert but we were a bit on the full side...too bad because the waitress had gotten us this huge chocolate cake, with a chocolate filled Congrats written on the dish. We had told her we were celebrating a late Mother's day and not only that but she saw my pregnant belly and asked if it was our first child, so I think that got her all excited that she got us a free cake with a candle and all;-) It was truly a golden Mother's day for me.

Our last day there we got our stuff packed and ready to go and we headed to the resorts Palm Court Restaurant for some brunch. It was a buffet filled with soo much deliciousness I didn't know what to do with myself haha. We had also had a buy one get one free brunch, so when the receipt rolled around we came to find out how ridiculously expensive brunch was, but totally worth it I guess. Even though I only ate a fruit plate and two waffles lol. Did I mention Josh bought me the purple camera I wanted ha!! yes. Overall it was the most special Mother's day a mommy could ever ask for. Joshua your are the greatest man in the Universe and I cannot thank you enough for your sweetness and for being the husband I've always dreamed about. Your one in a trillion babes!!! thank you for making it so special and for our wonderful week together and "Three day lap of luxury weekend."
