Last Saturday morning me and one of my friends met up with our running group in midway ky and ran their 13.1 mile course. We had 11 miles to put in so we didn't do the whole course but it was just beautiful. One of the things I love about running is that we go to different trails, see new places and get to breath in the freshest air early in the morning especially when your around huge farm lands and hardly any cars. I love that about running:-) then after being in midway I decided to come bak but this time with josh and kiara. The horses came up to us like puppies wanting to be pet it was so cute. At first Kiara got scared but then she warmed up to them pretty fast. I wish I had a farm with two horses, some chickens and some cows. That would be the greatest and a fresh herbs and vegetable garden . I would love that. All fresh stuff from your garden no need to worry about where it came from lol. Finally on our way back home our sweet little one fell asleep. She's getting so big and more beautiful each day!! I love her so much.

Hard work pays off!
Since running I have managed to stay somewhat leaner and after a week of juicing my midsection has gotten a bit more flatter. It also helps to detox and cleanse yourself from all the horrible holiday eats and such. I still have a long way to go. I wish I could gain more muscle on my arms and legs but I think for now my body is happy where it's at so I'm going with the flow. I don't do any crash diets, nothing extreme like HCG diets, sensa haha, or anything like that. Why would you put your body through 500 calories a day. Thats starving yourself. Just eat healthy, feel good and put some effort walking, jogging, any type of physical activity. I'm not a health expert but I've learned a few things and took a few semesters of health classes back in the days. Its all coming back after reading up on it again.
Next week I start training for a race I have coming up in march so that always helps me with getting back on track with even more clean eating which for me means no ice cream :-( no processed foods wheat bread white bread etc. I noticed all that slows my running so yeah basically high proteins egg whites fish, chicken breast and lots and lots of veggies and now juicing is what works for me during my trains. I'm hoping to stick to it and i'll have Sunday being my only cheat day. Lets hope next week goes well!! As a natural foodie I enjoy my ice cream my cookies and delicious gourmet steaks my husband makes me so I'm definitely going to have to go into food snob mode. Will power better kick into high gear lol. Might slip up here and there...i'm only human!!!! don't judge lol.
Here's a picture of my results: I'm pretty happy with them! It's nice to feel comfortable in your own body and with yourself, picking clothes out goes a lot more smoothly now haha I don't get overly frustrated with how certain things look on me. It's nice to have lost all the baby weight and some. So it always pays off. I think I'm ready for another baby now!!! wink wink!!---- JK yes, but not at this moment ;-)

Explorium.!!!
It was New Year's Day fun event at the Explorium. We all loved it and got in on the fun with Kiara. Made me want to wish I was a kid again. At least being there made me feel a tad young again...just a tad.
Dad is good at this bubble stuff. stuck inside a bubble.
Trying to figure out this bubble thing..failed.
Yummy bread in our pacific island hut
Holiday part 2
Kiara's first time seeing a real snowman. First time she saw snow she went crazy over it.!! she said "Mommy I want snowman, dis yummy piece mommy..is good"!! it made me laugh and it melted my heart. She loves it so much. This was a few days after christmas and we went off on a trail walk. It was chilly but nice. Took some pictures and had a nice walk. Later that night we went out to Tapatio and had some authentic mexican food. This place was truly mexican,!! say whaaa?? just next door to them they had a panaderia and I couldnt resist so we went in. Josh loves pan dulce. We grabbed a bunch, but of course a lot was thrown away. I refuse to over indulge. Yes i been trying my hardest to be a good eater. Sometimes I do great/sometimes I fail, but I never give up. Each day is a new day and a fresh start. Doesn't mean to give up. It just means were human and we all give in to the delish temptations of mexican food muahahaha. But anyways I was also able to keep the pounds off by running and lifting weights at my clubhouse gym. I'm so glad for that. Yes i'm vain!! and ever since running I'm obsessed with trying to stay in good shape and not lose my pace. Shaved half a minute off of my pace after adding strengh training to my running...WAAHHOOO!!! go me.
Holiday update..i'm late!
I been so lazy to blog, but so many of you guys have posted about the holidays I had to keep up so here it is. Christmas this year was beautiful. We got to start the elf tradition with Kiara and we had so much fun with it. Made crafts, cookies and other little things. Kiks loved it so much. She loved her Lily, but called him "Willy" haha. Christmas morning we opened up our presents. It was Kiaras real Christmas now that she's 2.5, she gets into it a bit more and knows who santa is, and what presents are. It was so cute to watch her open them and she really liked her Hallmark Belle dog and little fake makeup set my sister sent her. Later that night we went over to one of my friends house. Her parents were there and it was just so nice to spend it with friends when you don't have family in town. We had some laughs, exchanged some recipes because Annalee's mom had the best bread pudding i've ever had. Overall it was a nice Christmas dinner.
Merry christmas from momma and poppa bear
