Since running I have managed to stay somewhat leaner and after a week of juicing my midsection has gotten a bit more flatter. It also helps to detox and cleanse yourself from all the horrible holiday eats and such. I still have a long way to go. I wish I could gain more muscle on my arms and legs but I think for now my body is happy where it's at so I'm going with the flow. I don't do any crash diets, nothing extreme like HCG diets, sensa haha, or anything like that. Why would you put your body through 500 calories a day. Thats starving yourself. Just eat healthy, feel good and put some effort walking, jogging, any type of physical activity. I'm not a health expert but I've learned a few things and took a few semesters of health classes back in the days. Its all coming back after reading up on it again.
Next week I start training for a race I have coming up in march so that always helps me with getting back on track with even more clean eating which for me means no ice cream :-( no processed foods wheat bread white bread etc. I noticed all that slows my running so yeah basically high proteins egg whites fish, chicken breast and lots and lots of veggies and now juicing is what works for me during my trains. I'm hoping to stick to it and i'll have Sunday being my only cheat day. Lets hope next week goes well!! As a natural foodie I enjoy my ice cream my cookies and delicious gourmet steaks my husband makes me so I'm definitely going to have to go into food snob mode. Will power better kick into high gear lol. Might slip up here and there...i'm only human!!!! don't judge lol.
Here's a picture of my results: I'm pretty happy with them! It's nice to feel comfortable in your own body and with yourself, picking clothes out goes a lot more smoothly now haha I don't get overly frustrated with how certain things look on me. It's nice to have lost all the baby weight and some. So it always pays off. I think I'm ready for another baby now!!! wink wink!!---- JK yes, but not at this moment ;-)
